I want to take pictures like the ones that get all over the internet. Those really cheesy, romantic ones that teenage girls splash all over their myspaces and whatnot. What would it be like to be that couple in the picture? Some of the most famous models in our culture are unnamed to most of us. Does anyone know the name of the sailor or the nurse? Well, yes, but not as many as could name Cindy Crawford or Giselle. Can you name one picture as well known of theirs as the sailor and nurse's?
The most powerful pictures are of unknown people. I want to take photos like that. And I want everybody to use them without thinking about who the people are, but imagining themselves in the photo instead.
That's what I want to do.
